Pregnancy Yoga in Reading

birthzang yoga_small***Please note that I am currently taking a break from teaching yoga classes as I am travelling extensively. I will be resuming them in the summer of 2018. Watch this space!****

In each class

  • We practice gentle yoga positions designed for pregnancy to help you stretch and strengthen your body in preparation for birth.
  • We will also learn birth preparation techniques, breathing techniques and end each yoga class with a deep relaxation.
  • We finish each class with a cup of herbal tea and a chocolate biscuit and have a chance to make friends and chat.

Read more about the benefits of Pregnancy Yoga here.

You can attend the class from 12 weeks in your pregnancy and classes are for women only.

Classes cost £8.50 for a single class.

What to wear

Wear soft and comfy clothes, like leggings and a t-shirt. You need to have bare feet.

What to bring

I can provide mats, however, if you have your own please bring it. It is helpful if you can bring a cushion or pillow, to support your head during relaxation and maybe a blanket!

I like the fact that it doesn’t push you so you take it at your own pace. It is a really nice group of people and nice to meet other mums.

Emma's Yoga Story

I love the Birthzang Yoga class Eleanor offers. It’s a lovely way to break up my work week, and is helping me feel more aware of the changes to my body during pregnancy.

I’ve been attending regularly since I was 17 weeks and I really like the sense of community we’ve built and how open and welcoming the atmosphere is. Eleanor does a great job of making everyone feel valued.

Throughout my day-to-day life I find myself using your tips and tools and all sorts of different yoga stuff…it’s brill!
