This free online class is for you if…

💚 You know you need to do a birth preparation class but not sure which one is the best for you.

💚 You know it is possible to have an amazing birthing experience, maybe you plan a home birth but you just don’t know the steps to prepare and make it happen.

💚 You know with the right kind of education for you and your birthing partner your childbirth can be easier and even enjoyable!

💚 You want to feel calm and relaxed and in control and prepared about every aspect of labour and birth.

But you are just not sure where to start!

It’s OK, you are in the right place!

😱 Actually giving birth can seem a scary prospect because you haven’t covered this stuff at school and you have never been exposed to a real birth situation.

📺 On top of this, you have been fed misinformation about what birth is really like through films and TV that makes really good drama but gave you a highly inaccurate depiction of labour and birth.

👎 And while your friends and family relish in sharing their “horror” birth stories, none of them remembers to share the things that they found helpful and useful in labour and birth.

❣️ So it’s really not your fault that you feel this way, and thankfully it’s not too late to put this right!

💚 Because the truth is you already know that some people have really amazing and empowering births and you want a piece of it.

📚 Even if you are aware there are gaps in your knowledge, you still know that a little bit of the right kind of learning can go a long way.

👣 And you are committed to doing whatever it takes to lay the foundations for the best and most positive birth experience possible.

So what are you waiting for?

We absolutely loved the workshop! It was practical, easy to follow, really informative and focused on tips, tools and techniques to help us prepare for labour.

Emma

What’s the hurry?

Pregnancy lasts way longer than 9 months!

Well, it feels that way anyway!

The truth is that learning everything you need to know to get ready for birth takes time.

In fact, my comprehensive antenatal course has around 13 hours of content covered over a period of 4 weeks.

So while this taster class is only 45 mins, if you want to go ahead and do more learning then you need to have done this class with enough time to enrol onto the full course before your baby is due.

And have time afterwards to practice the things we have learned in class.

So if your baby could come any time from 37 weeks, the ideal time to do this taster class is probably around 20-30 weeks into your pregnancy.

5 Top Advantages of an Free Online Antenatal Class

In this ‘new normal’ online connected world where more and more can be accomplished through the internet, Free online antenatal classes are gaining ground and may even become the prevalent form of preparing for birth as the reopening of face-to-face antenatal classes remains uncertain.

What are the advantages of this online prenatal class?

Let’s have a look.

1.      Home, sweet home

The first and most obvious plus of online classes is that it does not require physical attendance: all you need is an Internet connection and you can take part in this course from anywhere in the world without leaving your sofa.

2.      Reduced costs

Online prenatal education is cheaper for everyone involved, Online prenatal classes instructors do not have to pay for room space, so enrolment prices are reduced accordingly—and that is not even taking into account that students can complete the classes without the cost of travelling or finding a place to stay by and that the class material normally comes with enrolment in pdf.

3.      A schedule of your own

You can choose to join our classes live or watch the recordings if you just can’t make it that week. That level of flexibility is just not possible with a physical class.

4.      Stay connected

When your classmates and teachers may not even be from the same country you are logging in from, it becomes clear that online education is not only a matter of accessing learning material at a distance, it is also a prime opportunity to meet people from all over the world who share your interests and may even open doors for you that would have remained closed otherwise, for example you may even find you international friends.

5.      Keep up to date with the latest facts

It is easier to update an online course than a printed textbook. This alone ensures that online education is always relevant and that if you educate yourself through Internet courses, you are less at risk of falling behind simply because you studied from an obsolete edition of the material.

Who the free online antenatal class is for…

This free online antenatal class is for parents who are feeling a bit overwhelmed around the fact that they are going to actually have to go through labour and birth and just feel as if you know nothing at all about what to expect or how to prepare.

You have maybe started doing some research already and have felt swamped by masses of inconsistent information online using unfamiliar words and jargon.

Perhaps you already had antenatal classes booked but they have been cancelled because of the coronavirus. Maybe you can’t make any local classes because of your job or family commitments, or there are no classes local to you.

What you really want is just to know where to start, what your options are and where to find unbiased and useful information.

You want to be able to ask all the silly questions that have been going through your head but have no-one to ask.

You want to have a clear idea about what you want so you can start to prepare for it.

You want to feel confident about the questions you have, and knowledgeable about how to get them answered.

But most of all you want to feel excited and prepared!

Does this sound like you?

Perfect for first-time parents, but also second-timers (or third!) who want to do it differently (and better) this time around; this online antenatal class covers all the basics so you know what to do next!

It is aimed for the earlier stages in your pregnancy as a starting point to cut through the overwhelm and give you a really clear road-map of what to do to help prepare for birth.

I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed the Birthzang free online antenatal class and found it enlightening, informative and empowering. As a husband, I thought long and hard on whether we should attend such classes. I was not very knowledgable about birth (apart from what I saw on TV).

I couldn’t understand why anyone would want to go through the trauma, worry and stress of childbirth over and over again! Having been on the class, so many of my questions have been answered and I feel so much more capable and part of the process now.

Thank you, Eleanor, for a great class. Highly recommended (particularly for Dads).

WITH REAL STORIES

Hi! It's awesome to meet you!

Eleanor Hayes

Antenatal educator, yoga instructor, coach and author

I founded Birthzang after having an incredible birth experience that enlightened me that with the right tools and skills at her fingertips, any woman can have a positive birth experience.

I discovered my passion for providing parents with practical and non-fluffy information in my online antenatal workshops and classes about how to cope with pregnancy, labour, birth, and parenthood.

Your classes were so helpful – we really knew very little about the process of labour, and nothing at all about how to handle it.

We went into the labour feeling really confident and relaxed. I found the range of positions you took us through really useful, and used several of them.

Our midwife commented on how happy and relaxed we were and even said that we were making her feel relaxed!

Jess & James

This is definitely a course for a couple to attend as it demystifies birth, particularly for partners. It covers every aspect of birthing and all the variables and circumstances.

It also takes away any fear I came away feeling like I can really do this!

Cathy

There is a lot of information covered in what seems a short amount of time but Eleanor has constructed her course beautifully so all the information can be digested easily.

My partner and I booked Eleanor for our second child, I was amazed at how much new information Eleanor taught that we hadn’t been told with our first.

I would highly recommend Birthzang to any couple wanting to gain valuable information leading up to the birth of their baby.

Thank you Eleanor!
